PROJECT SPECIALIST

Our Client, a prestigious equity management firm based in Morris County, New Jersey is seeking a well educated, polished, detail-oriented, personable individual to work as a Project Specialist supporting the two founding principles of the firm. This is a very high profile position that requires superior administrative skills( schedule meetings, travel arrangements) but also high quality experience in project management.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills A MUST.  This person will report directly to the CEO and must be adept and enjoy working in a very high end corporate environment.

ABOUT THE JOB:
  • Handle all administrative duties for CEO, scheduling meetings, complex travel, database management 
  • Provide project management oversight for various initiatives
  • Prepare, reviewing, and editing communications, reports, presentations and other documents
  • Review client materials to ensure accuracy and conformity to company standards
  • Work with in-house editors to coordinate writing projects, manage documents for publication, and ensure timelines are met
  • Manage projects with outside entities/foundations and charities
  • Coordinate public relations projects
  • Manage the firm’s website and on-line presence and conducting internet research
  • Manage the firm’s library and journal subscriptions
  • Assist in event planning for both internal and external events
  • Work as a team player with the other Executive Office Team members
ABOUT YOU
  •  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Master's degree a plus
  •  5+ years of related experience in a fast-paced corporate office environment in the financial services industry
  •  Strong organization skills with the ability to establish plans, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interface with all organizational levels internally as a representative of the Executive Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use proper judgment to reprioritize work for urgent matters with multiple on-going activities and responsibilities
  • Team player with flexibility anda positive attitude
  • Strong ethics and integrity
  • Excellent PC skills. Highly proficient in MS OfficeSuite
