Our client, a nationally recognized credit asset manager with over $18 billion AUM is looking for a Marketing Associate in their operations area.

The Marketing Associate is a key member of the Marketing Operations team and works closely with the Senior Director to execute strategies and plans for Marketing to support the business. This individual will understand and implement initiatives, processes, tools, infrastructure and technology that will support and improve the operations of the Marketing function. He or she will manage projects and tasks critical to three core functions of Marketing Operations: Foundational Processes, Planning and Reporting, and Technology and Infrastructure.

Foundational Processes
o Uphold the institutional memory of the organization by helping to maintain a shared knowledge portal website
o Collaborate with Marketing and other Firm departments to maintain and update Firm-wide collateral and content to ensure a single source for all materials
o Ensure smooth running of all employee related processes, including providing onboarding support and orientation of marketing processes to new employees
o Collaborate with vendors and creative resources to develop and manage the firm’s gift strategy and execution
 Planning and Reporting
o Beginning in 2017, coordinate management of the budget, including annual, quarterly and monthly updates and reviews of expenses
o Aid with the review, closing and filing of contracts with primary vendors, including media buying, agency relationships and freelancers, as necessary
o Assist with the coordination and creation of quarterly leadership reports designed to illustrate marketing effectiveness and business impact
o Help with benchmarking the Marketing department processes against other organizations and develop plans and recommendations to ensure best-in-class execution
 Technology and Infrastructure
o Play a daily role in website maintenance, with a focus on maintaining firm-wide information and management of website infrastructure upgrades.
o Aid in the development of a marketing infrastructure to support the execution of critical strategies and tactics.
o Assist with assigned technology and infrastructure projects, including the onboarding process for new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• 2-3 years' experience in similar role.
• Financial and/or B2B category experience preferred.
• Track record of success in working in and influencing a fast-paced, fast-growing organization.
• Experience collaborating with internal functional teams
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Technically savvy with strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of WordPress and HTML desirable
• Highly detail-oriented
• Impeccable integrity; embodies and practices world-class ethical standards in every respect
• Team player with a strong collegial style; able to operate at all levels in a matrixed organization
